Notice also that EDSA's parallel to other major roads -- take C-5. And... Actually EDSA's named C-4. C-6's in the making, somewhere in Montalban. Overall Metro Manila's road system is full of circumferences (C-5, EDSA, the future C-6) and Radials that intersect these circumferences (R-1 being Roxas Blvd., R-6 being Aurora Blvd. and Marcos Highway, R-8 as NLEX).
Oh yes, the perks of Metro Manila -- you wouldn't notice it's that way, but it really is if you have a view from the top. (Gwyneth? ha-ha) thank God for MMDA as well, budz. *winku*

Is C-5 somewhat interconnected to EDSA?
I don't know. I'm just glad that major roads are quite easy to travel on because of EDSA.
And MMDA, yeah, just keep the security men up and awake! =)
