Uh, does anyone on board know what to do with cookies? I kind of went overboard and I don't want to see them go to waste. I think they're still good. I mean, they should be.

Could someone help me out, please?

[Said very, very seriously:] Where can I find you, madam?

Deck 12, room 1251, sir.

[Assuming he wants the cookies.]

[Five minutes later... Knock knock, Cat.]

[Upon hearing the knock at the door, the Mithra moved to the door and opened it to see Tseng. She blinked a few times in surprise. Why was he injured?]

Ah... do you need a strong Cure spell?

[She backed up a little so the Turk could step inside.]

[Ah yes, despite having cleaned up and found a clean shirt in the piles of miscellaneous items on deck 12, Tseng's nose is still in plaster.

And his voice probably sounds a little funny, too. But he's all smiles, Cat.]

I think those cookies you mentioned would be very much curative.

[He gives her a nod, in greeting.] My name is Tseng, madam. I don't believe we've met.

Are you sure you don't need a Cure?

[She quickly moved to fetch the cookies from the pile and brought them over.]

Its nice to meet you Tseng, I'm Catpaw.

[He didn't answer her question immediately. Instead, picked up a cookie, bit into it, chewed very thoughtfully, and swallowed before smiling again.]

Ginger, yes? This is very good pain relief, Miss Catpaw.

[The other hand not occupied with a cookie touched the plaster on his nose briefly. Damn thing is a nuisance, although...]

How does your form of magic work, if you don't mind my asking?

Yes, it is. Ah, you don't have to call me miss.

[She waved her hand a little in dismissal.]

My magic? Well in Vana'Diel, everyone is born with the ability to use it but it depends on the job you choose. I am a Red Mage and I'm able to use white and black magic, with a few other spells my job can only do.

[She started to cast Enblizzard, which a block of ice formed around her hand before disappearing. The mage then clapped her hands to make the spell reveal itself.]

Like this, I can use the elements to enchance my weapons, if I had them on me but instead it surrounds my hand. Ah, if you don't mind, could I use this on your injuries?

[She'd wait for Tseng's answer before moving closer.]

There's also summoning magic and blue magic, but I can't access them at the moment.

Intriguing. [And quite beautiful, her brand of magic. The word Mage is familiar - another ancient term from those old stories Ifalna, and later, Veld, used to tell.] Magic is frequently used in my world, but only a handful of people have the ability to wield it without Materia.

[As for her proposal...well, what's the harm?] Please - you'll be doing me a favour. It's [he chuckles] currently somewhat hard to breathe.

Oh, you're from the same world as Reno?

[She nods and takes a step closer, being gentle as she applies her icy hands on to Tseng's face.]

I could use a high level Cure spell as well, to get rid of majority of the injuries here.
