89 Days until @ mingfilmfest Highlight of my life was talking Bach w Barrington Pheloung for an hour last year. Hope he's back in 2011.
Last year, on Sunday morning of the festival, I ended up hanging out in the cafe at Quay Arts with composer Barrington Pheloung. He did most of the musical scores for Anthony’s work. He told me he and Anthony just made films as an excuse to play Bach. He showed me the original score from Truly, Madly, Deeply and showed me in the score where dialogue was before he signed it for a silent auction. Before that my appreciation of Anthony had been two dimensional and I hadn’t even realized it. I remember thinking, as I stood there and Barrington bought me a Coke - This is the greatest day of my life.
