I'm alive!
Mardi Gras was a blast this year. I really wish more of my friends and family could have made it as well. They would have had so much fun. It ended up being just me and my friend Megan. It was her first Mardi Gras and she was a little shy which was hard for me...but with a little booze and some encoragement...she didn't do half bad.
I didn't have a camera this year but my friend did...I will post a few so you can see all the fun that we had :)
First night, VERY COLD, drunk and beaded.
I tried to drink my beer and got beaded instead. Pay attention when the floats go by!
One of my favorite catch's of the day. I got three boa's during the weekend. I had never caught one in the last 3 years....
I actually got on a balcony on Bourbon St. for the first time...a lot better than being on the street!
I thought this was a picture of me dancing on the stage...but it looks more like I was getting a spanking. Can't really remember...Damn 3 for 1 special!!!
All in all, it was a great time. I am sad I won't be there next year...but I will be in Europe and I think I will be able to get over it, lol.
