journal reset and recap of Perth journey
I have deleted a couple of previous LJ entries that turned a bit dramatic (for my record only) because they were just communication entries anyway. Needless to say, i've learnt a lot about myself and other people; mainly myself and that I have been a bit lax with who I've added back to this thing and therefore shared my world with, so it's going to change from now on; only my good friends (in other words, people I know and trust with my own heart and not through mutual friends etc) are going to be on my flist, and of course as most entries are public, anyone will still be able to read and comment if they'd like with the exception of one person that I have had to ban. Annonymous posters should note that IP addresses are shown to me.
It's now a running joke here that I'm a drama queen and i'm causing K and G nothing but drama whatever i do, and "nothing is good enough" and "I'm just going to create more drama tonight" etc. It's really cheered me up!
OK with that out the way, I am now going to use this LJ for it's sole purpose, and btw, from yesterday I have seriously enjoyed my time here and know I will continue to do so as we've got some great plans which of course I will share in here.
OK so I went to Nan's Wednesday night which was good; haven't been there in a while. I figured it'd be better for the cab fair!
So Thursday cab came at about 12. easily and quickly checked in with Joy and we waited.
Joy had a mat to lay on the plane in the front seat next to the main doors; it was so cool; so much room. But I did worry as while ascending and descending, Joy was trembling and panting; I started to figure it may have been her ears as there was no problem in the meantime and she relaxed.
However, she did settled down after a few hours. we cabbed it to and arwen3791 . And they showed me around the house, and have been such great hoasts ever since, and am sure it will never change. Lol
Yesterday morning we went over to tibiania's place, and it was good to meet, and re-meet her family, (I feel bad as I so don't remember her Mum, but she remembers me as they were originally from Melb).
Then for the rest of the day their friend C came over; we went to hungry jacks for a late lunch then came back here and had heaps of fun chatting and stuffing around with puters. And having dinner. I was the first to crash around 11.30.
Tonight we're going out to dinner with the gang who I mentioned the other day. Felix scanned the menu for us (or maybe he converted it from pDF to text) so we can make our selection before we go and thereby save time with him or anyone else having to read it while there; so should be good.
Then tomorrow we're catching up with C (their other friend) for dinner, and maybe B.
Joy is really happy here, and has made herself at home big time! When i fly back, I will bring some of her food to hopefully help with her ears.
