Tomorrow I start my new job.
I am so thrilled and anxious. I hope I can meet the expectations of my boss and team. I will be going from lone soldier of recruiting to low man on the totem pole of a over-worked slightly burned out recruiting team. But they all seem very pleasant to work with. There are about 8 people. I am one of the lowest in rank, if not the lowest. My title went down... from HR Manager to Sr. Recruiter. But they did give me a salary increase, so what do I care. I am so thrilled to be working with good people again.
I only recently realized I really and truly did not like my old boss. I feel bad saything being that he's fighting cancer and all. But the man does not know how to communicate. He rarely communicated with me, which I was fine with. But when he did communicate with people there would always be mixups and people would get frustrated and had no idea what he was trying to say. So I was happy to stay out of his way. It may have contributed to me loosing my job, I am guessing. But who cares. I am glad to be out of that company. It was an oppressive atmosphere. I don't know why it just was. There were few people who liked working there. No one trusted management. Few people liked the management either. Ug.
Onward and forward.
My mind has been kept off the new job, because of this Bob fiasco. I feel like I have been on an emotional roller coaster. What about Bob you ask? It's a whole other post. Stay tuned.
