So, I decided to do a post featuring a few of my fav Christmas/Holiday music (considering I'm forced to listen to it at work... Kohl's music... does things to you O.o). Unfortunately, I do not have copies of a couple of the songs I wanted to post, but I've got enough for now... I'll make a mad plea for the other ones at the end of this post... So here's we go.
Marshmellow World - Dean MartinSwanky winter song courtesy of Dino. They played this one a lot last year at Kohl's and I sort of fell in love with it because it is a deliciously hilarious song the swanky way Dino sings it... but this year, sadly they're playing a different version with a girl singing and it's not as fun.
All I Want For Christmas if You - Mariah CarreyI've always liked this one. That's really all I can say.
Step Into Christmas - Elton JohnI didn't even realize this was a Christmas song until a few years ago O.o;;; Durrr... but maybe that's why I like it so much. occasionally this come son at Kohl's and it immediately puts me in a better mood.
What Are You Doing New Year's Eve? - Nancy WilsonThey play this song at Kohl's a lot and I really like the classic sound of it. It's one of the good songs they play, hahaha...
You're a Mean One Mr. Grinch - How the Grinch Stole ChristmasBecause it's good to be bad sometimes, even at Christmas. Oh Grinchy :D
What's This - Nightmare Before ChristmasOkay, not exactly a Christmas Song, but still. It's a good one, and it's about discovering Christmas... hehe
Holly Jolly Christmas - Burl IvesClassic, standard, upbeat. What more could you want?
The Twelve Days of Christmas - John Denver and the MuppetsBEST. CHRISTMAS. SONG. EVER. I had to rip this off a random youtube video because I could not find it anywhere for the life of me. Which is sad because this is the definitive song for Christmas... for me anyway. I love the Muppets. Beaker!
Man, this weather is warm, but gross. The potentially freezing rain is hitting the window with a very creepy sound. So glad I have off tomorrow.
I think I'm going to buy my plane ticket tomorrow and get together my travel itinerary. Then I'll just need to fill in dates, get my pictures and another money order and I'll be set. I need to investigate the money conversion rate a bit further as well. Even though I'm going to have more than enough money, I'm curious despite reassurances by the Bunac website... hmmm.
