New vs. Old
I think that we live in an exciting time. Where we have the luxuries to explore new things by using all the different resources and technologies that are present in today's society. Things today might be a bit more complicated then the things of the past but our easy access to technology makes it easy for us to try and make the best of things.
During the 1960's to 1970's the type of media devices they used were huge and heavy and required a lot of maintenance to keep it going. Although today we still require that maintence charateristic we don't need to try so hard to kep it going. Sometimes it is even easier to just buy a new one.
Back in the old days when things like tv was new. It was speacial to just get it in color. Now a days we have high definition, plasmas, and LCD. Also lets not forget the ditigal stuff that replaced all analog technology.
As we try to improve ourselves we also improve the technology that keeps us moving. In the 1960 / 70's their media devices were efficient enough for them as our media devices are efficient enough for us. Until the time comes when we off course substitute the old for the new.
