I'm so very sorry you're bitter about the ending. I wish it could have been good for you and given you something to be happy about.
To be fair to Ron, I often get ideas in the shower myself. That said, I certainly didn't agree with the decisions he made regarding everything that happened in the finale. Some things, like you, I didn't get and some things I would have liked answers to but he didn't give them. I guess I've just gotten used to BSG not always making sense and sometimes leaving things hanging. That part doesn't bother me so much anymore.
The Lee/Kara/Zak table sex thing we definitely see differently on. I hope to be able to explain that more in the Lee/Kara post I'm going to make (when I get time to write it). I didn't LIKE it (cause I've never liked the cheating aspect to their relationship, nor to Kara's personality in general) but I understand it and it colours everything that comes after from the mini to season 4 differently for me.
I suppose in the end we all had different expectations as to where the show should have ended up. We all wanted Lee and Kara together and alive, and we obviously didn't get that. But all the other stuff - each of us had his own interpretation of where the show was going and how it was going to end and some people were bound to be disappointed when it didn't live up to what they'd wanted to see. I'm sorry you had to be one of those people. *hugs* You are one of the nicest most wonderful people around and I hoped you wouldn't be sad because of it.

I would have let Ron get away with most of his crap if he had actually explained a few things from the beginning. It seemed like his explanation for everything was God says so. Pythia was such a big thing in season 1 and 2 and here in the end we got nothing.
I don't think anyone approved of Lee and Kara's affair after UB but we took pilot!porn when we could get it. But this thing with Zak just rubs me the wrong way. I just can't see them doing that to him no matter how strong their feelings for each other. Hell Zak was one of hte biggest reason they couldn't get together during the early seasons.
I guess I was expecting something specatacular since that's how the show had started out but the finale was a bit flat. I don't know what I was expecting other then some solid answers.
You may be right about you knowing what Ron does from the beginning. I only started watching live at the beginning of season 4. I only had 20 episodes with Ron everything else was already on DVDs. There is nothing wrong with getting ideas in the shower but I think they have to be able to go along with the other 80 hours of episodes.
Who knows? I still want my round table with Ron or I'll take him in the ring. I can get Jamie to substitute for me.:)
