Stargate plus RDA
I rarely post, but after a lot of indifference to Stargate Atlantis, I actually
quite enjoyed a couple of them lately--Brainstorm, which let me laugh (a good thing) and
last night's Identity, which I really thought was a good one.
I also was pleased to read Joe Mallozzi's Dec. 8 blog, I guess in response to many negative
comments on Brainstorm (I rarely read the fan comments), which stated his position on ship, and
said that in his mind, Sam and Jack have been together since Threads. Mine, too!
Because while I'm much more into team and gen fic these days, I can still thoroughly
enjoy good Jack/Sam stories and I also agree with him that while they could not get together
before Threads due to the regs, now they can, so I choose to believe that they have.
I've also enjoyed the pics posted at KateR's RDA site, and the links I found there to more at Gateworld, which let me see RDA in a casual atmosphere at the recent pain fundraiser thing in Calif. It certainly appears that if you could go to one of those events and show up with a dog, you'd get some attention from RDA--and how cool would that be?! Though he needs to work harder if he's going to lose thoe 35 pounds he said he promised to lose if they did another SG1 movie, and supposedly they are going to sometime next year. With lots of Jack in it, is always my hope.
