Hi Evereyone!

I think most of you have heard/read about photobucket changing their terms of use and trying to rob us of our money from now on - it's just Murphy's law that his happened after I spend weeks and weeks to sort through the archive and move pictures around in folders, snort.

Anyway... I have found a new site thanks to dieastra who posted a ( Read more... )

Two explanations as to why your pictures may still be there (others have reported that too):

1. Your page is not as "famous", therefore not get as many clicks and traffic. They may have first went for the "big" users. This has happening for a few weeks now already, so they may still catch up with you one day.

2. Are you a paid member? Those that paid Photobucket before (like 20 Dollars a year for the smallest level) are save till next year but then the same rules apply to them.

I never got the e-mail though. Some say they were contacted by e-mail by Photobucket.

What I like about the new page, that when you upload 30 pictures at once, you get all 30 links in a box at once. You don't have to copy each one individually.

You can make different folders, but apparently you can't make folders in folders.

Also when uploading you can choose the size that shall be displayed. You don't have to scale them down before uploading.
Sorry to hear you spent so much time moving stuff around. How does that work though? I was not happy with some of the decisions I did in the beginning (never thought how big this would become one day!) but didn't dare moving anything as that also would have meant losing the links that already were posted at various pages. They would have not worked anymore.
So maybe it is not a bad idea for me, to start from scratch and sort them properly this time.

Edit: The top picture, in your entry post with "Welcome", is gone.
