Being unemployed is one of the hardest things in the world for ANYBODY right now, and I've been unemployed for the last two months. I know that's not long compared to some, but Its a lot longer than I've been unemployed before. What I've wound up doing is settling for low-pay, under-the-table jobs like working in shady restaurants or taking out the trash for people who say, "Don't ask questions."
I'm still good for rent, which I guess is what counts in the end. The thing I'm getting at is that even in this incredibly rough economy people need to realise that it's not impossible to find work. Its hard - it requires the willingness to do things you might not be proud of, or enjoy doing. But survival itself is a tough thing. To those of you in the rough of things right now - I hope you find within yourselves the willingness to do what it takes to make your dreams happen. :)
