So, new things in the life of your host...
Final construction work is being down this week on the house. Fireplace finished today, shower Friday, last bit of room stuff tomorrow. Punch list down to about 5 or 6 items that may be negotiated away in lieu of payment.
Outside of house is a mess. Not looking forward to dealing with it.
Father home from 2nd trip to hospital. Still, no real answers other than 'brain reacts poorly to fevers.' Excellent. (that 'excellent' was a sarcastic rendition of Mr. Burn's)
I have Jelly Beans jelly beans next to me on my desk. They are being rapidly consumed.
I just realized I have two documents in the hopper I need to update this week.
I am re-financing again. This time is much harder. Title search is being especially difficult about a mortgage paid off 7 years ago, requiring proof of payoff. Umm.. like, call and ask if they think I owe them money. If they say yes, then I'll have to go find the paperwork. Sheesh. Also, the first time in my life I've actually had an appraiser come to the house and do a real appraisal versus viewing it on Google Earth.
Boys are in soccer. I'm coaching two teams. Cub Scouts are winding down.
A long-lost friend from undergrad found me. I'm very happy about that.
