A weekend in Grand Rapids
So, i finally did something this summer other then work! and it was a blast.
I headed to Grand Rapids on saturday morning w/ Randall, i drove and he just played crappy music on my ipod the whole way there. Anyways, the drive was great and easy. but once i got to Lindsay's house, we saw that my car was leaking red fluid... so her neighbor told us it was transmission fluid and that i needed to get it fixed or i was in trouble if it all leaked out. So we drove to muffler man, and they basically told us it had a leak and that we needed to take it somewhere else or whatever... but no place was gonna be open again til monday... and i was coming home sunday, so i was kinda freaking out. but instead we went to meijer and bought transmission fluid and just kept checking to make sure we had enough and refilled it when needed, So i made it home :)
but anyways, the real reason i went to GR was to see Kenny Chesney in concert at Van Andel arena! It was amazing! Carrie Underwood came out first and sang a bunch of her best songs and then Dierks Bentley sang all of his hits and they both were awesome and it was so fun. Then Kenny came out on a stage right across from where my seats were, even though we were up high it was still awesome. He sang for like 2 hours! every song i ever heard from him was sung just about. I was so impressed, he was so entertaining and put on a great show. Uncle kracker came out to sing w/ him too.. but eh, nothing special about him really. lol It was such a great time. and def worth it.
but now i'm home and i have to put the scrubs and apron back on and get back to work...
oh yea, i won 30 dollars on a 2 dollar scratch off lotto!!! w00t!!!
