So....
a year ago today, I found out that Rick died.
The Ides of March are no problem for me. I have the Ides of August.
Last Wednesday I got laid off from work.
Before you lovely sympathetic people get upset, I should tell you that they gave me a severance package so I will be fine. I actually think this will be a good thing and I will end up in a much better place. Hell, I may even move out of the city.
This Saturday I will be hosting a memorial for Rick and cooking for 25 or so people. I expect that it will be a lovely time. I certainly look forward to seeing friends of Rick's that I have lost touch with.
