Mourning Sunshine
Hello all. I'm at work right now. Woke up at 5am to get here at 7:30am. Haven't made an actual post in a while. Lots to talk about but not on LJ. Lately I've been overwhelmed. Swamped if you will, with with a pretty busy schedule day in and day out just about all 7 days of the week. There was a point where I probably would have boasted about having such a busy schedule but there's quite a difference between being an active person versus having almost every last moment of your time monopolized. I suppose I'm being as efficient as I can with my time which is good. Spending time on productivity rather than on BSing around. It's all usually at the expense of sleep and food usually. No time for things like that. I'm pretty much trying to get finances together so I can travel and find an apartment in Manhattan or Brooklyn in a year or so. It's really hard doing the finances thing though. It kills me to get a check for $X a week and have -$300 taken out from taxes. I know someone who makes 10 times more than me (very literaly). I can't imagine how he feels being taxed out the a$$ like that. Damn! The average salary in China is $1,300 US Dollars per year so I guess I can't bitch too much. *edit*Yes I can.*/edit*. Have only a few classes left to be done with school. I've really been taking my time. I'm still on schedule for grad school in Fall 07 though. Hopefully that will give me a little bit of a grace period so I can really have things together. I can't wait for that. A rumor has been spread at my job that I slept with my former supervisor in order to be 'promoted' to where I am now. She hasn't been talking to me much lately. I wonder if she thinks I started the rumor. Apparently the rumor's spread even to the highest bosses in the office which kinda sucks. I've been going through a lot lately. I'm glad I still have people who care about me and who haven't given up on me and such. The weather is getting warmer but it keeps switching up. I'm so writing God a letter. We elected God for a reason and it wasn't to bullsh!t around with the weather. Get it together dude! All in all I'm as well as can be expected and I hope to see you all at some point in the near future. Life goes on. Whether you're a bench warmer or out there scoring points, there are no time-outs.
