thank you everyone one who came to support me again saturday night. i only wish you could have heard me over the numbing roar of the mid-teen crowd, damn 15-year-olds, but i kept on playing anyway. my only real disappointment was that the kids were talking loudly the whole time i was playing, but when that kid went up there and started covering the song "creep", they hushed, then roared in applaud. then he started playing bright eyes and shit. don't get me wrong, the guys been practicing, but he sounded a little flat in my opinion. he lacked flavor. in the words of lucas, "i'm not going to sit here and listen to the indie rock top ten."

at any rate, i still had fun doing it, though i think i'm going to avoid all ages night at pillars from now on, and start playing on thursday nights. they will be much more low key, and that's good for the type of music i play. after all, i'm no rock star.
