week and weekend
Just thought I'd do a quick update on what's been going on recently before I head to class...
The first week of school was last week. I'm taking 18 hours again, and I am basically living in Corbly Hall. All of my classes are either management or economics classes. I think I'm going to end up having to do a lot of case studies and group presentations, but I'm ok with that. Most of my classes don't have finals, so that's good. I have four out of my six books so far, but I'm hoping that the others will get here soon!
My weekend was so much fun! It was cool to just be able to go out and hang out with people and have a good time... It had been far too long since I last did that. Friday night was the Old Crow Medicine Show concert. Once we got to the gate, the people told us that it had sold out, like, 15 minutes ago. We tried to bribe them to let us in, but to no avail. Ty ended up sneaking in anyway, haha. So basically, we just hung out at Chili Willi's for a long time, and it was a lot of fun! Saturday night, after working a double, Wendy and I hung out... We were at Chili Willi's for awhile, but then we went back to my place, watched Buffy (and the musical episode!), and went to bed. Sunday morning was work again, and I ended up getting a big table right before I was supposed to be off for the night, so I ended up staying quite a bit longer than I normally would have. After I was finally finished, I just sat around and talked for awhile with everybody. Then it was home for a little homework and Big Brother! hehe.
Overall, the last week has been full of school, work, and fun, and that's just the way I like it. Hopefully I can update better/more exciting/more detail-oriented things later! :) For now, it's off to Global Macro Issues!
