a very kenpo christmas
so tonight was good. on so many levels.
went to kenpo. worked with a guy named frank. heavy handed frank i call him. last week i thought he broke my finger. so tonight we're going at it and doing techniques for the one brown belt in the room. he has a test in june i think. so we're doing things for his benefit. one technique has you grab the guy's neck and spin him down to the ground. hard to explain but i'll gladly show you if you like. so it's going well and then heavy handed frank drops me on my lung. or rather drops my lung on his knee. pain exploded in my chest. i actually felt my lung quiver. and of course there's no air. so i'm on my ass gasping. and sort of laughing cuz i know what happened and know i'll be okay. so when i recovered i made sure to hit him in the jaw and twist his wrist abit more than necessary. good workout.
then it's the xmas party upstairs at the bar. beer. and then we find out the oriental nail place next to our school (we're in an indoor mall) is having a party. down we go. drunk asian chicks. booze. they dance together. we get free massage chair rides. very nice. very odd.
