I am feeling very much relieved that my Brit Lit II prof moved teh due date for that killer poetry project to Thursday. I doubt I'm going to come up with anything decent by then (I've hit 1K, but only one of them really fits in with what we've been studying thus far) I... still have a while? Right. :P I might post the poems later, just to see if

Aw, if that were in French, I would love to translate that myself, or see if I could translate it myself.

...ah, there it is. Awesome - I like how that can happen in real life. Don't you just hate the concept of bullies?

I've got something else I'm translating from French. It's... weird. :P I'll feed to to LJ once I have my translation done; then you could have a go at it? Translating style is a bit beyond me at this point. XD

Bullies are... urgh. Last year I got pushed around a bit at school. Not so much this year (I am teh all-powerful Senior!) but... it's just icky. Yeah. :P

Ah, I would love to see what you come up with! Doing that is beyond me as well; I am working on understanding what is in front of me and responding decently. ^^;

I know how that is too - I used to be teased so much when I was younger, but thankfully, it stopped in tenth grade. Maybe it was because I made friends with a lot of guys who would beat people up if they messed with me...? I guess that is one advantage of being friends with those on the football team and helping them out with classwork from time to time. XD

*grin* Yeah. Like... I can read fairly well (I'm working on a work of philosophy now, anyway, and I've read some novels), and I can write rhyming poetry, though the rhymes are sometimes a mite forced. But style? I'm not good enough for that yet. :P Might be another year...

...though one of my best RL friends just got back from a year in France. We've been yabbering in French quite a bit. Makes me feel like I don't know what I'm doing, but it's really helped my oral French skills, and vocab.

*nodnod* Yeah. I've got fairly popular friends now (not popular in the cheerleader sense; just well regarded as good people.) Didn't always, but they sorta envelop me in a cloud of coolness. :D
