ObamaCare and Detroit

HHS asks insurers to extend multiple ObamaCare deadlines. Let's be real: If everything was going swimmingly, this wouldn't be going on.

Oh, and there's more "fun": ObamaCare's aggregation rules pose a compliance nightmare for small businesses.

And there's more! Everyone who has kept their plans for 2014 may be forced off in 2015: "The reason is that the new figures set forth in 2015 increase the maximum deductible from $2000 to $2150 and the out of pocket limit from $6350 to $6850." The full gory details are at the link.

ObamaCare is impacting volunteer fire departments.

Remember when we were told that the government was going to make a profit off the GM stock that it had. Yet another lie misstatement: It's only a $10.5 Billion loss.... As for Treasury Secretary Lew's comment that, "Inaction could have cost the broader economy more than one million jobs, billions in lost personal savings, and significantly reduced economic production," Yes, that's possible. It's also fairly certain it would have impacted union jobs, union pensions, and Obama supporters more than anyone else. And it sure helped Detroit, right?
