I hate how I always forget the stuff I talk about with good friends. I do remember one part though. Sam, Katie, and I were reading our Bibles at a coffee shop on Center Street and I had a really cool idea. I think it came when I was reading the end of Proverbs, but then I read some of the New Testament passages that talk about specific descriptions of godly men and women. I thought a really good way to stay conscious of how you're doing in all of those areas is to make a somewhat comprehensive list (one for men and one for women) then ask your spouse (or person who knows you really really well) to grade you on a scale from one to ten how you are doing in each area. Do this analysis periodically to see what you're doing well at and what you need to work on. :) I would say aren't I clever, but it's really not me you know. ;)
On a different note, I got "home" at 1:45am this morning then got up fairly early and unpacked and got to know my new roommate a bit. Her name is Anna and she seems really cool. I like how she spends lots of time doing devotions. Plus for some reason I just feel really comfortable around her. Don't really know why, but I think that's a good thing because I didn't really have that with the first Anna (though seeing her in the hallway today she seems in much better spirits and I do feel more comfortable around her now that we aren't roommates). I've realized how talkative I am nowadays. Don't exactly know why that's changed either. Guess I'm just growing up. :)
