I had an awesome time at Abby's swing dance birthday party. I kinda wish I could have danced more, but I got some good rocking in. I learned a ton of new stuff too, like the basics of the Cha-cha and Salsa (I think). I also learned the Cuban Shuffle and Cotton Eyed Joe. We also all danced to the Cha-cha Slide (?). It was crazy with so many people trying to dance in that one room! But it was a lot of fun. I danced with several guys, most of whom where pretty decent dancers. I also danced with one of my room mates, Rebecca. She's the one who taught me my first new dance. After that a few people came over to our place and we chilled. Then even more people came and we played big group games like Mafia and Zip Bong (which Jesse and Cody are the most hilarious at playing). Tons of fun. I had a great weekend.
Yesterday and today I worked on the Moody Mosaic magazine with Nick, Mirak, and Patricia. Kinda fun at times, but we got a lot of work done and the magazine looks great! The only thing we're worried about is that Chicago with mess up the pages when printing and it was be a disaster. (I pray not.) It really cool getting to work with these guys. Lol. Today I was promoted to Managing Editor because of all the work I've done and the original Managing Editor quitting. I feel special. :)
Church today was great. I finally decided (I know I've said this before, but this time I mean it) on Mount Spokane as my home church. They have the best relationships and opportunities for ministry and I know people going there. I'm still going to go to The Porch as I've said before, but now I feel at ease and soon I can start serving. I am very excited to be working with kids again. It's been too long.
Invisible Children has been on my mind a lot lately. I really want to help, but I feel like I don't have much time or money to give. So just right now I've decided to pray for Uganda.
