Totally Last Minute BBQ at Lisa's and Caleb's Graduation Parties

Well, yesterday was quite the busy day. It started off with picking Bethany up at 9 am and going to Melana's so we could go to the Farmers' Market in Oakland together. We did that and then stopped at the park so little Isabel could play. Then we walked a ways around Lake Meritt (I don't think I can spell that right) before we had to go back so I could go to the first graduation party of the day: Matt Roberts'. Oh, and while I was with the girls, Ashley called me and she got locked out of her house and ended up spending the whole day and evening with me. So after Matt's party Ashley and I went to the Livermore Rodeo, which I had never been to and I liked it a lot even though it was kind of expensive. We ended up meeting Stephanie and Greg there who I guess are kind of dating now, maybe? I'm not sure. But Greg is Ashley's ex-boyfriend who she rashly broke up with because he said some hurtful stuff I guess and now she wishes she hadn't. So... she ended up leaving for an hour or two because she felt too emotional. She planned to pick me up after the rodeo out on the main road because there was such terrible traffic getting in/out of the place. Greg was gonna drive me out to the road, but it was gonna take way too long so I just walked. It was kind of funny. On my way out there a group of teenagers in a truck or whatever had the country music station blaring out the windows, but they were complaining that no one else was singing with them. I heard them as I was walking past and gave a little pump it up arm motion and they were all cheering. So after hooking up with Ashley again we went to the next party which was at the Hosanna Boys' Ranch. It was a really nice house and all but it wasn't that active of a party (at least for us). We did end up jumping on the trampoline for a little bit and I actually fell off! Haha. I think that was the first time in my life I ever fell off a trampoline. I was doing a 360 jump turn and landed but didn't have my balance and kept stepping in circles and practically jumped right off onto the sticker filled dead grass. Those little burrs hurt a lot and I have red marks now from the ones I landed hard on. And, unfortunately, I landed on the hip I always have trouble with when I go for long walks. So now it hurts worse. I'm hoping it will heal on its own quickly. It was really funny though, when it happened. Ashley said she kinda peed her pants it was that funny. Lol. So that was that party. During that one we found out that Lisa was having one at her house, so we had to find the owners of three cars in order to get ours out to leave early and go to Lisa's. Success! That last party was the best one all day. Obviously because of the people. :) We all sat outside for a long time just chatting about stuff. (It turned out Silas was there.:D) I was so cold because of my thin little sweater that I had Lisa on top of me being my blanket. Then we all went inside to play 4 on a couch. Which is a really fun game by the way. And the girls won all 3 rounds. Hehe. I don't want to sound hecka dumb and girlish, but I really enjoy spending time with Silas (in group settings mind you). A couple of times we were on "the couch" right next to each other and it was quite cozy.:) I don't feel like I want to kiss him or anything, just kind of cuddle. He is so warm. :) (I think I am turning into the giggly girl like you, Katrina. Lol.)
Today was the final graduation party, at our house. There are actually still people here even though the party officially ended almost 2 hours ago. Lol. Hey, I like it. We had lots of people over; family, friends, even one neighbor family. I ended up playing with most of the kids that dropped by: the VandenHuevels, Millers... Trampoline and pool, that's the game of the youngsters. But I also got to sit with the adults for a long time. One thing I found really funny was that I could hear much more conversation about my college plans than Caleb's, and he's the one graduating! Lol.

friends, silas, party, family
