Make a list of things you enjoy, even when no one around you wants to go out and play. What lowers your stress/anxiety level? Make a list, post it to your journal, and then tag 5 friends and ask them to post it to theirs.
when i need stress relief, and no one wants to play...i enjoy:
1. Misty ... a good cat snuggle is the best remedy for ANYTHING
2. Books. I love books. I love reading books, arranging books, looking for certian paragraphs in books, finding a good book for a friend, etc.
3. Bookstores/Libraries. I could happily wander around a place full of books and not speak to another person for hours.
4. Baths
5. Marathon DVD Sessions of my favorite TV shows, all time Favorite - Alias, followed by Gilmore Girls recently (I think it's the CT references, i try to run - but it's hidden in my subconsious)
6. Listening to my ipod in bed with aforementioned Misty. He won't let me read and cuddle, but i can listen to indigo girls singing at the top of my lungs and he will indulge me.
7. cigerettes... but alas - i gave those up 16 days ago.
8. i really miss hanging with my girlfriends. It's lonely in MA. but that's a whole nother subject.
