Real photo postcards and portraits from Turkey. These portraits were taken between 1910 and 1930 in Constantinople, Istanbul. Most of the studios were run by Armenians and Greeks and many of the people depicted here are Armenian and Greek. The studios include Sebah and Joaillier, FotoVenus, Sark and Resim. There are also some portraits by itinerant photographers in rural Turkey.
