1. What is your idea of perfect happiness? There are few moments when perfect happiness are experienced, but I feel that those moments do exist. Perfect happiness might exist during the first time you observe your son or daughter smiling at YOU after being born; or when you've just stepped on untouched snow and you get a proud feeling of being that first person to trek upon it; or, the day you see the happiness your friend exudes after getting into graduate school; and my favorite, when you've just finished a fantastic dinner out with friends and you're giving those hugs 'good evening' to your friends. That is perfect happiness.
2. What is your greatest fear? Being "alone". I hope never to look back on my life only to realize that I have been alone for my successes and that the summation of my life consists of my doing good, though unnoticed, deeds.
3. Which living person do you most admire and why? I suppose I would have admiration for others, but I haven't really taken too much consideration into the actions and/or character of others. I have great respect for my mother and father for instilling in my the very most positive characteristics that they possess, and the awareness to adjust to and accomodate for my faults.
4. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? My physicality. I'm always obsessing over my appearance, though it's not something I'm ever saying or bringing up to others. I constantly dwell on it.
5. What is the trait you most deplore in others? Ignorance, Spontaneity. (The former, because I have no patience to explain things to people, or to make them understand; the latter, because I myself wish I could be more spontaneous, and I have trouble feeling comfortable around those friends of mine who express themselves spontaneously.)
6. What has been your most embarrassing moment? Being a thief in either fourth or fifth grade, getting suspeneded in middle school.
7. What vehicles do you own? I possess my legs, so that would be the answer. I no longer have a vehicle.
8. What is your greatest extravagance? In my 22 years, the things on which my savings have been most spent would be food and dvds.
9. What is your most treasured possession? I treasure my hearing aids. They even have a specific resting place at night. Also, and more appropriately, my first present (Love Bear).
10. Where would you like to live? The North East (preferably in an expensive area of Connecticut, Rhode Island, or Massachusetts).
11. What makes you depressed? The knowledge that I'm only a month or so away from having to work for the rest of my life.
12. What do you most dislike about your appearance? Being overweight. My upper body. I consider myself as having a pretty attractive, unique face... it's pretty much my torso up that causes me the most disgust about myself.
13. Who would play you in a movie of your life? Some unnamed actor, and the movie would be panned by critics as wholly unbelievable. Their arguments would be that nothing as boring could possibly have ever happened.
14. What is your most unappealing habit? Passing gas freely.
15. What is your favourite smell? When I've showered with girls, the smell I like most is when they are clean and have just gotten out of the shower and they are drying their hair. It's like, that essence of cleanliness that is just so compelling.
16. What is your favourite word? idiosyncracy.
17. What is your favourite book? I used to say that I had a favorite book, but I'm not like many of my friends (those who cite authors' works and who read those works consistently). I enjoy the books that I choose to read; but I don't truly place any sort of attachment to specific books (or movies, for that matter).
18. What is your fancy dress costume of choice? I don't possess any fancy dress costume of choice, though I'd like to dress in a really snazzy looking Italian Suit.
19. Heater or air conditioner? I like being cold, so I'd rather have need for a Heater, cause I could leave it off.
20. Cat or dog? Dogs are more pleasant
21. Is it better to give or to receive? Depends on how you qualify 'better'. It's better for me to receive, because I'm terrible at remembering to give. I love reactions when gifts have been given, though.
22. What is your guiltiest pleasure? I don't really have any pleasure that I'm guilty about. I mean, masturbation shouldn't count as guilty, cause everyone loves it. and I don't really have any interests that others would deem unorthodox. I enjoy reading essays, and listening to music. I suppose?
23. To whom would you most like to say sorry and why? Those individuals (a select few) toward whom I would most feel compelled to apologize are individuals whose reasons for my being compelled to apologize are based on unsound arguments or points of view. I have said I'm sorry to individuals when I've felt that such a reaction was necessary, but regarding lingering apologies... I don't tend to leave situations open, without an apology or an acknowledgment of emotional expression.
24. What or who is the greatest love of your life? I believe that I greatly love myself, and as a tangible conceptualization, I greatly enjoy music.
25. Which living person do you most despise and why? Well, I have two: A girl who made my life a living hell sophomore year, and my current bedroom roommate (not my best friend, but the guy who is actually sharing my room). Those are the two people I most want ill things to happen to.
26. Have you ever said “I love you” without meaning it? No, I've never said I love you to someone and not meant it... However, I'm uniquely unlike most people, as I've very very rarely gotten to the point where I've used "I love You" to someone.
27. Which words or phrases do you most overuse? "That's Amaaazing", "You're AWEEESOME"
28. What has been your biggest disappointment? So far? My senior spring semester!
29. What is your greatest regret? Honestly? Not pursuing Amanda Humphreys or any of the other infatuations I had back in High School.
30. When and where were you happiest? Oh wow, I suppose I'd say during my youth (on the baseball field), and any of those days when I was in my backyard shooting hoops. I also really enjoy any time I spend with my family.
31. When did you last cry, and why? I can't remember exactly when, but it hasn't been over any thing in my life in a long time (i.e., I would have cried about something like a movie or some music I was listening to).
32. How do you relax? Go see movies with friends, go on 'adventures' (i.e., little mini-road trips), Going to Borders, or eating out
33. What single thing would improve the quality of your life? Losing forty Pounds (though EVERYONE says I look 'Fine'... It's one of those things where I live with myself, so I know what I used to look like, and how I want to look again).
34. What do you consider your greatest achievement? So far, it's been my high school graduation. I've not had many huge moments yet.
35. What keeps you awake at night? Insomnia, not having a girl to share a bed with.
36. What song would you like played at your funeral? "Hurt" by Johnny Cash (not NIN's version, because Cash's version is so sad)
37. How would you like to be remembered? I'd like to be remembered as an exceptional worker, a good father, a loving husband, a caring son, and an empassioned friend.
38. What is the most important lesson life has taught you? Exist for yourself and you may find that more good things happen to you than you'd expect. Also, show respect to your family, in the long run they are the only people you can really count on.
