enough of the fire
It has been a hell of a time eh? Tonight's been one of those nights when every song I listen to just sounds good... these are my favorite kind of nights. Survived half of "hell month" only 3 weeks and 8 exams to go. So tired and have been feeling pretty sick lately but will try to recover over break. Would like to bust out of Michigan for a few days but we'll see if I'm still in the game. Got to love the lifestyle. Have been kind of jittery since I wrecked my car as well (2 weeks ago, middle of a 4 car pileup... utility truck1, poor little honda 0 ). Made me a little shakey and gave me some nasty stomach pain for a couple of days but other than that ok .Also sad because it made me miss seeing Jeff Tweedy the next day in Ann Arbor (that sounds lame I know, but Jeff Tweedy himself and his main frame band Wilco has been in the top 5 for a long long time). Enjoying learning how to do physical exams and I have an interesting longitudinal patient (she was diagnosed with a brain glioma, has a lifelong diagnosis of PTSD, some understandable trust issues, and just lost her mom to Parkinsons right before christmas... but still fighting the good fight, I should be taking notes). Going to Haiti in May... still figuring out how I want to spend the summer... maybe hike the long trail in VT, maybe back to Africa. We'll see... I think that's it, I should be studying, exam in 7 hrs and counting but hope the world is hanging in...
