Fly, Money, Fly
Amazon is dangerous. It was dangerous enough in it's co.uk incarnation, but I think it's even more so in co.jp now! >.< The stakes are much higher!!
Because amazon.co.jp is evil (for quite a number of years now), and forces you to use express FedEx delivery for shipments outside of Japan, I usually try to wait for a whole bunch of items I want to accumulate, or pre-order crazily in advance to make up bulk orders. I suppose the good thing is that even though I select the "Group my items in as few shipments as possible" option, they send items out as they're released, and only charge for one shipment, so I don't have to wait months for my other stuff.
The last week saw the arrivals of two separate shipments, one after the other.
First one brought Zoku • Natsume Yuujinchou Vol. 1 which I had ordered almost 3 months ago.
And the other one had the Okuribito OST and an Ayabie CD, the Nabari no Ou Vol. 3 that was almost 50% off, as well as Code Geass R2 Vol. 9.
Tadah!
I preordered it because of the Nyanko-sensei pocket mirror and Original Drama CD that come with the limited edition version. >.< I'm a sucker for 付録 (freebies) and 特典 (special) stuff. But I suppose that's what their purpose it. To induce people to BUY BUY BUY!!! >.<
I often end up buying manga magazines just for the Tokuten CDs and Furokus.... And end up not reading most of the magazine. Eeks!
The Vol 1 Drama CD was pretty good this time round, though I have to say I still like the First Season Vol 1 CD the best. Because Sakupyon's in it. >.> Hahaha!
Was very glad that the cover for this DVD turned out to be such a pretty one. ^w^

I like how they put all the items together, secured them with a rubberband, and shrink wrapped the whole lot before gluing it to the base of my big fat box. xD
The box was big and fat because.......

The final Code Geass DVD came with a collection box for the whole series illustrated specially by CLAMP!! xD
Since this is the only volume I bought, I filled it up with my other DVDs. >.< I really wanted to buy some of the Geass DVDs, but lack of shiny/glittery freebies and specials, higher priority purchases, and lack of money put me off doing so.
It so happened that I wanted to visit the official homepage to check some stuff, and saw pictures of the DVD box just a couple of days before the release date!
It was just too pretty!! Suzaku and Nunally are on the other side, and in between, there's..........

Was really glad they included him. Hoorah!
Also saw that there was a cast audio commentary! All the volumes have them, but I don't think I can afford to buy them. >.< I wish the audio commentary tracks were available illegally too. >.<
So that night I skipped over to amazon.co.jp and added it into my basket, and a bunch of other things. Also took the opportunity to pre-order Ayabie's new single. xD
But it was a very painful.
Yikes. Need to control my spending patterns!!!
