So it's been a full year since the last time I posted on this thing.

A lot has changed. A full year has gone by, which included:

So Mom ended up taking me shopping on Sunday. She wanted to do some shopping of her own, but she forgot her checkbook, so she was somewhat limited in that regard. Jeff Rients, who writes one of my favorite gaming blogs, has just delivered an inspired take on Dungeons and Dragons as a rock band. It's one of the most awesome things to come out of the Gameblog in a while, and gave me a much-needed laugh. Thank you!

When we last left our paladin, he finished the Depths instances for House Deneith and got hold of a new adamantine shield, though he ended up dying several times through the final two instances, with one infamous death being to a goddamned wraith.

As usual when I create characters for MMO games, I tend to want to stat them out in my tabletop games of choice. Being as Galtero was created in a game based largely on the D&D 3.5 ruleset, I wanted to see what he looked like in the fourth edition of D&D in general, and D&D Essentials in particular.
