Headed into a new year

So it's been a full year since the last time I posted on this thing.

A lot has changed. A full year has gone by, which included:

• The Chaos saga ending in Adventure Quest Worlds, and a new saga, the Queen of Monsters, taking its place. I've not had much interest in the game lately due to other interests taking precedence.
• Feng Shui getting a new kickstarter, which has resulted in Feng Shui 2 coming out sometime this year. I will be snagging this puppy up when it comes out later this year.
• Magical Burst getting a new edition, which I am currently playing on RPG.Net. I play Natsumi Murasaki, or Spirit Gunner Natsumi, a mahou shoujo who uses guns and spiritual powers. She's battled two monsters so far, one of which she's still in battle with, and did surgery on somebody's soul with sorcery to remove a shard of someone's Nightmare.
• The new edition of D&D finally getting out. I've gotten the Players Handbook and Monster Manual, but am waiting on the Dungeon Master's Guide. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far, but I'm sure the edition warriors have their arguments for and against the edition. I will be hanging on to my retroclones though.

I've also gotten my hands on Dragon Age Origins and the Mass Effect Trilogy. I've gotten Mass Effect running, but cannot get Mass Effect 2 to start without locking up on the title screen (which is pissing me off big time, and is only compounded by the fact that I can't seem to register the game due to the Trilogy edition only having one key, which only works for Mass Effect 3). Dragon Age Origins I have a bit more success with due to not having to wrestle with Origin. Still haven't decided on a main character for that game yet.

I've also gotten into Spotify, which is now one of my best ways to get hold of some music.

My family has a new kitty, which they got after the other one, who was a rambunctious little cuss, got run over. I don't know the kitty's name off the top of my head, but he's adorable.

I don't know what this new year will bring, but I hope it's a good one.
