Adventure Quest Worlds progress and an old favorite back from the dead
Ledgermayne is officially history as of Friday, as I stepped back into Etheara's shoes and took the Chaos Lord down. Pretty ominous little ending cutscene too, with mention of a storm coming. Etheara is Level 32 as of this writing, with three more levels to go. I also took care of another major loose end world-wise and went through J6's area -- the sketchy area, the saloon, the ship and the train in the first VR sequence. Unfortunately, the item I came there for, the J6 Pirate Armor, went rare quite a while ago, meaning I'll have to wait for the next big J6 update before tackling the next part.
Ariacus meanwhile has made it to Level 14, with a maxed-out Mage class at Rank 10 and a Rogue class that is getting there at Rank 8 after I bit the bullet and sold off my Ninja class. I've picked up the badass-looking Sword of Animus for him, which is now his primary weapon as a mage. He's also finished the Kitsune saga (including the Dragon Koi Tournament, which I had to use Rogue class for most of) and has the legendary Hanzamune Dragon Koi Blade as his weapon as a Rogue, as well as racking up enough coin to get him the Blood Cloak (since I haven't yet racked up enough ACs for the Aristocratic Cloak. I'm currently taking Ariacus through the Darkovia saga, and in contrast to Etheara throwing in with the Lycans, I'm building up Vampire rep with Ariacus so that he can get the Vampire Emissary armor. I only wish the lining for the lapels wasn't the same color as the trim (gold for me, to go with the cape), as a vampire with yellow lining for the suit just looks goofy.
Finally, ChaosAngel209 has re-uploaded one of my all-time favorite Touhou arranges, the incredibly awesome Apocalypse Now from the doujin circle Dangerous Mezashi Cat, which was nowhere to be found on Youtube following the suspension of his first account. And to make things even more awesome, a guitarist who goes by Torzelan on Youtube has covered it.
