So I started playing this awesome free online MMO with Jason called Dungeon Fighter online. It has a sill tree level point system sort of like WoW, but plays as a 2d side scroller like...The old Ninja turtles arcade games. The character designs are awesome too,; the art is really gorgeous.

The character designs look great! The designs, though not so much the style, reminds me of Guilty Gear/Blaze Blue. :D

Ashi and Tommy play a game similar to this. I don't know, for some reason I tend to loose interest with MMO side-scrollers, but it looks really good, though.
