Been a while - but i'm back
It's been a while and figured it was time to get back to LJ. Yes, I got hooked on facebook but not been online a whole lot in general.
There are lots of changes since my last post, and it's all progressing in a good direction. My great bf Shawn and I moved to a townhouse in Aurora mid February, about 40 minutes north of Toronto. We are really enjoying the town and are both getting involved in the community. I was very reluctant to leave Stouffville, but Aurroa is feeling like home and we are making new and old friends.
The other major event is our farm sale. We never sold the farm, just all the farm equipment, tools, an antiques. It was very theraputic going through all Dad's things and was happy/sad the day of the sale. It was a community event, with over 300 people showing up. It would of put a smile on Dad's face.

Finally, during the many weekens of preparation I had a great surprise. I turned 35 in early June, but mid-May my fantastic hubby set up this great surprise party. There were lots of friends and family that showed up - and belive me I was surprised. I showed up after a day working on the farm - covered in grim and all sweaty and gross. I was reluctant and annoyed when I was told to be home by a specific time - however it was all worth it and I do have the best bf ever.
So that is the coels notes - I'll try to update more regularly.
