HEY I'M HOME.
I forgot to tell people I was leaving for Chicago and would be gone all week...so if anybody noticed, that's where I was. :) It was very awesome!!
We saw both art museums (MCA was a complete let-down, but Art Institute was amazing as always) and did a loooot of shopping and eating, and saw Mary Poppins on Broadway.
GUYS that show is AMAZING. "Magic" is really the only word that deserves to describe it because oh my gosh! I was floating with giddiness the whole time! The costumes were so vibrant and fantastic, the scenery (holy crap pop-up house!) and special effects were just so....magical! And the music and singing and acting were all so good. Those kids are freakin' awesome, and Mary pinned her character. Everyone was perfect! (practically perfect in every way, in fact.)

but anyway back to the reason I have a screaming koopaling in my icon.
I went to Goodwill after the dentist's today, which wasn't as sucessful as it's been in the past. NO Lion King things at allll...usually there's a toy or a book or something. But not today.
I did, however, get an awesome purse. And I saw the Pochahontas DVD in the expensive case! I don't have that one, even on VHS, so I decided I needed it. Especially for $2.99 <3.
Now, in the past I've lost out on the Tarzan soundtrack and another disney movie because the little buggers who shop there opened it and took it out and went on their way, leaving the unsuspecting customer to buy an empty case. But since this one was in the expensive case, that couldn't have happened, and I was too giddy and didn't check.
I got home (after being muchly praised by my friends for my new movie!) and realized there was only the bonus features in the case. WHAT THE CRAP.
So the freaks who gave away the DVD KEPT the movie! What cheapos. $2.99 isn't that bad for bonus features...but still. It's not like I WANTED that part of the dvd.
