I went to a Romney Rally. :o It was my first political rally ever...very exciting. So much excitement going on, so many people were so hyped up. I went with my mom, who went so she could choose finally between him and Obama. She ended up choosing Romney on the cynical barings of she thinks "he'll mess up the country the least".
Very exciting atmospheres...I want to go to more rallies, actually. I'll have to make time to try and do that when I can vote, haha. My neighber who is totally for him was sooo excited to go. She's been a veeeeery proud Canadian citizen living in America for years, but got her citizenship to vote for him. She was behind this really tall guy when everyone was crowding to shake his hand, and she ended up telling the tall guy her story, who actually ended up pushing her towards Mitt shouting "Mr Romney! You've got a new citizen here for you!" and she quickly told him her story. She was so excited, it was so cute.
Politically, I'm still with my mom about between Obama and Romney, and I'd be really excited if that's who it came down to. I'd be happy with either, I think. I'll be disappointed if its McCain vs Clinton.
The weird thing about the rally was seeing all these people there...a lot of people came directly from church there (that's what my mom and I did, actually) so I knew them, and they were all dressed up, and whatever. But then there were the tons of people I obviously didn't know, who were obviously not mormon. Just a fun blend...it was still weird seeing so many people from church. I mean it makes sense, he talked right after our meetings and just a short drive away, but still. Makes me feel like he's only got mormons backing him (which I know isn't true, btw...).
Anyway. Now I have a big blue poster and nothing to do with it.
