1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?:
Got a proper job. Moved out (sort of).

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?:
I made a pact with myself not to drink between my 22nd and 23rd birthdays. I only had about 3 alcoholic drinks in that time which, considering the amount of drinking that went on with friends, was pretty good.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?: Nope.

4. Did anyone close to you die?: No, thank goodness.

5. What countries did you visit?: Germany, twice (good old Nurburgring, I'm due a trip any time soon!). Had to drive through France, Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg to get there, if they count.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?: Not be such a scaredy cat

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?:
Late January - going to Nurburgring. T'was ace (even if I was ill).
February 7th/8th - finishing our magazine project. Again, it was ace.
March - work experience. A-maz-ing.
July 20th-23rd - Going to the Nurburgring and back with Heather and Hayley. Has to be in my top 5 list of best holidays ever.
Early August - finishing my dissertation. Most boring 2 months of my life.
October some time - seeing Ross Noble. What a comedy legend!
October 22nd - started my job.
November 23rd - graduated from uni (again).
December 16th - Race of Champions. Oh so cold but a great day.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?: Getting my job.

9. What was your biggest failure?: Not telling the whole truth to someone, because I'm scared to.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?: I fainted in January and hit my head. Believe me, that didn't help with my law exam 2 weeks later!

11. What was the best thing you bought?: Nurburgring holiday

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?: My friends, some of whom I haven't known that long.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?: One or two family members. Why's it always family?

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?: Race of Champions! And the British and European GPs.

16. What songs will always remind you of 2007?: Not a song, an album - Ultimate Kylie. Hell yeah!

i) ...happier or sadder?: About the same
ii) thinner or fatter?: A bit thinner, but not much
iii) richer or poorer?: A lot richer.

29. What did you want and not get?: Love? Let's go with that.

30. What was your favourite film of this year?: Hot Fuzz. Or (please don't shoot me for this) Rocky Balboa.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?: I was 22. On my birthday I had to go to work, but my birthday present to myself was my Race of Champions trip, and the weekend before that I had a great night out in Cov.

All I'll can ever be to you
Is a darkness that we know,
And this regret I got accustomed to.
(Tears dry on their own - Amy Winehouse)
