So... I guess the boy's culturally literate, just like the girl. alexis_laforge March 19 2007, 05:08:15 UTC

I guess this is one of those times where photographic memory pays off a little.

Makes me a hit at parties. alexis_laforge March 19 2007, 05:17:24 UTC
Well, it would if I went to parties. So, in theory, my memory could make me a hit at parties. Attended exclusively by college English teachers.

Those are the best kind of parties? razycrandomgirl March 19 2007, 05:22:25 UTC
-giggles- I don't even know. :X
But if it was exclusively for college English teachers ... How'd you get invited? Unless you're not telling me something!

Several of my friends are college English teachers, so I get invited. alexis_laforge March 19 2007, 05:28:52 UTC
Well, one is. And I don't think he goes to parties either so... I don't actually get invited. The parties are, alas, hypothetical. Actually we mostly talk about why Larry David amuses us, when we hang out. Maybe that's why we don't get invited parties?

No, wait... I have gone to the history department fall extravaganza, which is held for all history majors. But it's not much of a party.

I was kidding. But .... razycrandomgirl March 19 2007, 05:33:50 UTC
You reminded me of that scene from the Breakfast Club. lmao I'm sorry.
If it helps any, I'm the basket case. :-D

but I get invited to parties ... I mean parties are stupid and I mostly avoid people when I go. -nods-

Damnit I wish I had an icon!

And your icon is THE BEST! -giggles-

Parties=too many people at once. alexis_laforge March 19 2007, 05:41:44 UTC
Too many people at once=anxiety attack. Not that this has ever happened... Hee. You know, I've actually thought about writing a sitcom, one day, but sometimes I wonder if people would find my humour strange or off-putting. Of course, they said the same thing about Kelsey Grammer when he first appeared on Cheers, and look at how THAT worked out.

Thank you! When I went to my PhKPh initiation dinner, Friday, I had to wear a tie. A friend complimented me and I said that, which drew a giggle. Considering it looked like I had a freaking David Brent Halloween costume on (I don't like ties), well, you can see the natural progression.

Sorry I had to google David razycrandomgirl March 21 2007, 05:57:06 UTC
Awwwww that's so cute!

Ps ties are like bras ... only not as necessary. ;-)
