Firefly:
1) What got you into this fandom in the first place?
I want to say the movie. I watched the show when it first came on Fox and I kept missing episodes because of what Fox was doing to the show ... but after I watched the movie I drove right into the fandom. It's actually the reason I made my LJ at the time. ;)
2) Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
I have moved on. :\ Joss Whedon's work is gross and problematic in every show he does. But it was a great fandom. Hardly had any problems in it. It was mostly Wash/Zoe shippers. :)
3) Favorite episodes/books/movies, etc?
I like Our Mrs, Reynolds because it's funny and on first watch Wash surprised the hell outta me when he sent Saffron away. :D When I fell hard for Wash. ;)
4) Do you participate in this fandom? (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)
I used to. I made fanmix, picspams, fics, icons I racked up point over at whedonland It's nice over there. Super encouraging!
I even went on a cruise and on other firefly themes evens. It's good to be a nerd. :)
5) Do you think more people should get into this fandom?
Sure. It's a good mini series as long as you recognize it for what it is. Watch the show and the movie and then head on over to whedonland and get to making things for your team. ;)
Heroes:
1) What got you into this fandom in the first place?
The show. And maybe Sylar ... as soon as I figured out who I wanted to ship him with it was pretty much over.
2) Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
As long as Albion is still writing The Kept Woman Series I'll still be in it. I still think about Maya daily so it's sticking with me.
3) Favorite episodes/books/movies, etc?
ugh and all that could have been. I guess Powerless because it has lots of good Saya scenes in it. Everything from when they are in Mohinder's apartment.
4) Do you participate in this fandom? (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)
I used to. :) I still look out for whatever Tammy's doin'.
5) Do you think more people should get into this fandom?
It's pretty much dead though now, right?
The Vampire Dairies:
1) What got you into this fandom in the first place?
Bonnie/Damon ... though there was a guy at work who told me to watch TVD and I was like NOOOOOOO TRUE BLOOOOOD! It might have also been tokenblkgirl with her stories. I saw a clip of Bonnie and Damon and had to watch to see what else was happening.
2) Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
Nothing last forever
3) Favorite episodes/books/movies, etc?
History Repeating, Brave New World, Masqurade, Founders Day
4) Do you participate in this fandom? (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)
I do, I do, I do. This fandom and the show and all that it's not saying is so rich! There is so much to argue, discuss, talk about and everyone is passionate.
5) Do you think more people should get into this fandom?
uh'm if they are mature enough to discuss the themes. or if they like crack it and just want to laugh (to keep from crying)
