We Love the Women That Fandom Hates - Day 1 (Greta)
Okay, so a kooky freefalling meta on why I dig The Vampire Diaries Greta Martin so much.
There was so much buildup for this woman, yet we hardly knew her. It started when her brother (Luka) and father (Jonas) came to town. They were witches who were helping thier vampire (as is the theme in this show) and presumably using him to get Greta back. The problem with this was they died were killed before they could even see to this business. Her brother burned alive in front of his father's. Then said father lit a resturant full of people and stuck a broken bottle in some dude's neck and strangely enough, was the only other person (besides his son) to die that night. Talk about being productive.
Anyway these dudes die for Greta's storyline right? They think she's been kiddapped by vampires. We all do! So what do you expect to happen when she fianlly gets to town? When she finally graces out television screens ...
Is that bitch smilining? oh hell no is she willingly working for vampires? (hem-hem). And she's not just working for any vampire oh no! ... IT'S THE EVIL VAMPIRE! (the ones who didn't murder her family) It's her fault entirely that her whole family is dead. Kill her! She's after Elena! How dare she smile! I susppect that EVIL VAMPIRE is giving her orgams and she likes it!

Silly me, I am liking this new twist. Greta is smiling? Interesting. Why did her father spin it like she had been kidnapped? What were those dynamics? Why did she run away? Why was her father so quick with that power nurtering spell he used on Bonnie? Did he use it on his family? Where is Greta's mother?!? OMG she's going to make the Salvatore's beg when she finds out what they did to her family!
Stupid me for asking all these questions. For becoming intrested in this character who was built up only second to Klaus and then ... I don't even want to talk about it. I can't.
But I will say that because of this woman, and what happened to her via TPTB, and because the way fandom jumped on her: I fell kinda hard. I also hate Damon Salvatore for laying hands on her. He will never be able to wash that stain out for as long as I think about Greta. I never ever want him to touch another witch again. And I used to be a Bonnie/Damon Fan.
