Coming from a long time Bat-fan and lover (maybe that's the wrong word... one who finds intriguing is better, along with Harley and Ivy) of this pairing in all its media (so amazing that Harley only dates back to 1992; she seems to have just always been there since the beginning) this is positively brilliant. The writing is terse, almost scientific, and doesn't allow us to escape the starkness of their co-dependent madness. I guess what I'm saying is that you should probably write more (took me long enough to get the point, huh?)

lol thank you.

I can't guarantee more but this one kind of took me. I was at work thinking I should write some Harley Quinn for Jess, she'd like that. And then I was talking to her last night and I thought "Doormat!"

Poor Harley. I love watching them (or her mostly) on the show.

Thanks for letting me know I did a good job.

Ps you remind me of Stu.

Now THAT? Is a compliment. I love ol' East Texas. Anyway, the piece of Watchmen fanfiction on my journal came from the same place. I was talking to Sian one night, my Cornish friend (although not a Cornish hen). She was bemoaning the lack of decent Watchmen stories and I thought, "Well, it may not be decent, but at least she'll have a story." Plus it was an excuse to write kinky adult themes set in the 1940s and that can NEVER go wrong.

No kidding on the kink; I don't think you could even write the Comedian shaving in the morning or eating pancakes without it being 1) wrong 2) hot and 3) kinky. That's just how Jeffrey Dean Morgan rolls. I mean, we have be able to believe that Sam and Dean (who, as a straight male I am comfortable saying this, are sex walking on long legs) are his sons, right? Carla Gugino, as the Silk Spectre, is the same way. The combination of them brought out my sense of the off and inappropriate, with poor Night Owl I stuck in the middle. What began as a piece of straight, if rough, erotica became something more... uncomfortable. Maybe what I'm working on now won't mutate like that, but I'm not keeping my hopes up :/
