I checked out the rules in the userinfo, and it does look intriguing, but...wouldn't it essentially devolve into a pairing popularity contest? I mean, realistically speaking what kind of chance is there that, say, a Sylar/Maya or Sylar/Eden fic would win against a Sylar/Claire or Sylar/Mohinder or Peter/Claire?

You could be right, but I wrote a Molly Gen fic and it got second place. And I didn't pimp myself on my own journal. :x *is proud* Yah I was second to a Sylar/Claire fic, but I did vote for that one so ... I don't know.

Maybe we could level the playing field a bit?
