Long night at Mercy Med, Ash has the flu.
Ash has come down with, what we hope is just the typical flu.
Blood test came back fine and no kidney stones, because she was having bad back pains but more than likely it was due to her being sick from 4am until I came home at 4pm.
She was dehydrated and put on an IV of 1000ml as well as a injection via IV for nausea when we finally were admitted. Doctors joked and Ash was starting to feel better though she was very tired.
We were at the hospital from 5:20p to 11:30p, after which we stopped off at "Jack 'n' The Box" for some egg rolls and med. sprite (Mmm Healthy).
I, on the other hand I'm just tired and nothing more. I feel as normal as ever or can be. Lets just hope they do not call back saying her test shows influenza which might also be the piggy flu. Oh yeah, they swabbed her nose for boogies to see if this might be that type of flu.
Props to the night staff at Mercy, they're top notch and hella cool.
