1. I have a number of boxes stacked precariously in my kitchen. Nearly all of them are empty and they're taking up a lot of space. If you want 'em and can visit my place in Long Beach you may take 'em away for nothin.

Aside: evilbutcute, your boxes are set aside and we should chat about when/how to get them back to you. ping me sometime

our neighbors have a habit of putting out cans of cat food outside their apartment. I dont know how many cats they originally intended to feed this way, but now there's about 8 of them, mainly feral, that hang out in a pack, fight each other, and spray all over the outside of our apartment and do other nasty things around the place.

One of these cats is actually tame, a small grey one who is shy but not feral. He has let me pet him and lets me pick him up.

He's not my cat.

But I like him anyway.

eek. I thought about just picking up the guy putting in one of my many boxes with a towel and leaving him with some tuna (the closest thing I have to cat food). But I didn't want to come home to the smell of cat piss, especially since the chances are low that he wouldn't piss on something I'd prefer to keep piss-free.

Reminds me to look up local no-kill shelters. And makes me wish I had a printer so I could take pics of him and post signs around asking "Is this your cat?"
