I read - or rather finished reading - Lady of Mazes by Karl Schroeder back in July 2005. I had no idea there'd been a prequel. Been reading Ventus since yesterday and, so far, it's hot - not as trim and fit as its successor but it's still fun getting to see what the original 3340 and Choronzon were like.
