My love is overflowing for
WordPress. Today there were 158 SPAM comments awaiting moderation on Max & Khai's website-- which means that after a quick scroll-through to assure that none of them were actual comments, I was able to give a clickity to the 'mark all as SPAM' button and poof! They were gone! Not a one actually made it onto the site. It's just so easy! And that makes me happy.
The spammers have also been trying to register for the parents' website that I set up for the boys' school. They don't make it past the email verification, but they keep trying. I've had a few hundred attempts at comment-SPAM on my site in recent days, as well. Persistent, aren't they?
And now for some Spam of a different color! I know I've posted this before, and though I don't know the origin nor the author, it is my most favorite Spam haiku ever:
And who dares mock Spam?
you? you? you are not worthy
of one rich pink fleck
*Spam disclaimer: I have never actually eaten Spam. It seems like it is inherently radioactive and might cause spontaneous mutations upon ingestion. JUST SAY NO.
**Edit: add another 81 attempted spam-comments to the kids’ site. Geez, ppl. Chill. I wonder how many more there will be by morning. They multiply exponentially, like spam-bunnies.
