I, myself, am strange and unusual.
From the WTF Files: Christmas Isn't Safe For Animals (.mp3 link, by of Montreal, found on Optical Atlas). Just... wow. I downloaded Sweetney's Christmas mix and was just getting around to playing it. This track came on and I had to stop immediately, break out the Google-fu and share it with you, oh beloved ones! Why rent when you can own your own washer and dryer for $225 each? Put it on your Sears card!
This morning I mustered all the energy I could to tackle the shopping. I have one gift left to buy for Josh's Granny (yay, Amazon!) and one more gift for Khai... then I AM DONE. Of course there's the wrapping and whatnot but that can be done later, away from the crowds of crazed shopping lunatics. In my pajamas. On my living room floor. While watching Battlestar Galactica. Ha! There's no way I could wrap presents while watching Battlestar! It sucks me in too much.
My favorite Alien has initiated Three Terrific Things Thursday (aka T^4), in which you post three good things about your day. I tend to think of such things in more of an overall sense, like all that I'm grateful for in my life... so it's a good exercise to narrow the focus a bit. My three for today?

I'm off to upload photos to the boys' school website and then finish my Christmas cards. Callooh! Callay!

- successful shopping! (never to be underrated)
- Khai telling me at bedtime, "No more Jesus songs! They're too boring." OMG, I laughed so hard. I have too many religious Christmas songs in my repertoire...
- getting to talk to both my sister and my mom on the phone
