(backblogging: sleepy and not-so-live from Florida)
One banana colada down. Lounged on the beach for a while near some too-loud music before heading back to the room for some lunch. Liquor has been purchased, as well as iPod speakers-- however, we forgot to buy chocolate.
It sounds so much more action-packed than it is; we are both lackadaisical and neither of us have real preferences about what to do. So Katie is napping while I scribble.
I like that there are real people on the beach. There are no perfect bodies and no one seems to care.
I need to do some yoga.
Lots of green here. In general, everything is much more run-down than I'd expected. But that, too, is real. The ocean air is harsh.
I miss my family. The boys would love the beach. I can't wait to take a beach vacation with them.
Barnes & Noble might be in order later for a magazine. Although there was a coffeeshop/bookstore not too far from here.
I dreamed that I went to Thailand again.
