It rocks having boys.
They're playing on the floor, and one of them just ripped a big one. I said, "Wow! Who was that?"...and they both said, "ME." Now they're arguing over who did it. Awwww, yeah.
Josh was off work last week, but it feels like we wasted a lot of that time. We did go up to a cabin in Oklahoma for a couple of days-- I wish we'd stayed longer. I took the boys out in a paddleboat, where Max did his best to convince me he could swim. I was a mean mommy and would not let him out of the boat. We also did a little hiking and explored some shallow caves. Khai is still saying "Cave. Scary. Monster."
I actually enjoyed doing the dishes by hand while there, which is just wrong. This is most likely because Josh was watching the boys, so I popped in my headphones and just tuned everything out for a while. Thought-less time is good every now and then.
Oooh, speaking of thought-less time, the Sci-Fi channel did a Battlestar Galactica marathon last week and I recorded it (I <3 my DVR). We watched the whole thing this weekend, and it's much better than I expected. The new season starts on Friday. I need something to fill the Star Trek void, people. Something.
This is one of those days where I just really want to order a pizza. Pain goes away, right??? Sigh. OH! That reminds me! Jess gave me a cookbook called Allergy Friendly Food and it's sooo good. I can't wait to try out some of these recipes. Thank you thank you!
