I Like the Ponies!
I don't "get" AFL, nor Rugby (neither League nor Union), but I LOVE Gridiron. And I'm LOVE'N watching the Saints Vs Colts Superbowl.
I've been a fan of the Colts since my time in the States in 2005, snd I'm THRILLED to see them play in the Superbowl (albeit through a television).
I want to wring the scrawny neck of the channel Ten Producer that planned their coverage. I really wish we could see more of the Superbowl commercials rather than the regular crap. But credit where due, the commentators aren't as annoying as they could be: Two Americans (sans annoying accents) that actually know the game and the players from an intimate, they grew up with the game, point of view, an Australian sports commentator that actually knows something about the game... and then there's Hughsey: one of Australia's most annoying comedians, who by the graces of all that is good and holy, knows that he is out of place and is thankfully keeping his mouth shut
I really hope that the Colts win, but even if they don't, this is proving to be an amazing match to watch. The skill of both teams is making this game an absolute delight to watch.
